May I thank the Windsor committee for my judging appointment and Deerhound owners for their
support. The very hot weather affected all the hounds, but especially movement. Overall both
teeth and nails were sometimes in need of attention.

PD(3, 1) 1 Spence’s Hyndsight Ash. Brindle, straight front, neat feet, dark eye, moved steadily,
shapely 7 month old puppy. 2 Owen &Brodie’s Wolfcastle Draig. Larger than first, good front, neat feet, dark eye, chest not as deep as first, movement needs to improve as he develops.

JD(4, 2) 1 Meer’s Kilbourne Harvey At Lordswell. Good shape, dark eye, well set ears, good neck, bend of stifle, tail carriage was held well when on the move. 2 Spence &Heathcote’s Hyndsight Riddick Within Shagiead. A very masculine harsh dark coated dog, dark eyes, good bend of stifle, movement lethargic, was feeling the heet.

PGD(4) 1 Francis & Blatchford’s Cloweswood Acer Of Peopleton. Striking dog, harsh coat, lovely
head, very expressive eyes, good neck, deep brisket and bend of stifle, tail carriage was good
when moving. 2 Wilson’s Hamiltonhill Fred D Mercury. Well ribbed, nice head, neat folded ears,
deep brisket, good bend of stifle, moved well but needs to mature. 3 Shannon’s Erewhon
Dambuster.

LD(14, 5) 1 Piggott’s Greyzicon Blythe Spirit. Strong dog with a good outline, well knuckled feet,
nice teeth, strong neck, well muscled, deep brisket, good bend of stifle, well set tail, moved well.
Res DCC. 2 Morgan’s Hyndsight Meteor. A brindle dog, good outline, nice head, well set ears, dark eye, strong neck, good topline and bend of stifle, did not move well, affected by the heat. 3 Day&Demerlay’s Dorian Grey At Celticmoon.

OD(6, 3) 1 Helps’ Ch Greyfriars Gillie Of Beardswood. Well muscled, mature masculine dog, tight
feet with well trimmed nails, lovely head, dark eye, small well folded ears, good teeth, deep
brisket, great overall conformation, moved soundly. DCC, BOB. 2 Adams’ Cscarf O’cockaigne (Imp). Another handsome mature dog, taller than first but a little less length of body, expressive eyes, good spring of rib and topline. 3 Day’s Deerlay Dorian Grey At Celticmoon.

VD/B (5) 1 Lucas & Dargonne’s Sorisdale Mackechnie For Packaway. A 9 year old bitch, showed
well, good outline, deep chest and good bend of stifle, moved soundly. 2 Shannon’s Lealla Joka. A seven and a half year bitch, full of life, wagging tail and licks, dark, harsh coat, held her topline
well on the move. 3 Wiggin’s Killoeter Grilse.

PB(10, 2) 1 Helps’ Beardswood Panthera. A pretty dark grey bitch, lovely head, dark eyes, neat
ears, good upright front, correct shoulders and topline, very shapely and free on the move. BP. 2
Spence’s Hyndsight Ripley. Looked a real baby, good front, feet and topline, well set tail,
movement affected by the tendency to lean into the handler. 3 Day’s Celticmoon Shadowmancer.

JB(6, 2) 1 Bailey’s Greyflax Crystal. Just one day out of puppy class, harsh grey/brindle coat, well sprung ribs, strong neck, nice head, dark eyes, good rear quarters, moved with drive. 2 Taylor’s Kilbourne Baccarat To Ormanstar. Good outline, well balanced bitch, good length, well angulated, expressive eyes, moved well. 3 Lucas &Dargonne’s Glenmorlich None So Pretty For Packway.

PGB(7, 2) 1 Smith’s Rosslyn Pollie. Great feet, lovely head and expression, neat ears, strong well muscled neck, held tail correctly when on the move, good outline on the move, well handled. 2 Wilson’s Hamiltonhill One Vision. Restless when standing but improving with experience, neat feet, dark rimmed eyes, strong neck, harsh coat, moved well covering a lot of ground. 3 Llewellyn’s Matahari Mermaid.

LB(9, 3) 1 Bailey’s Kilbourne Jennifer Jupiter To Greyflax. Good size bitch, very expressive eyes,
neat ears, strong neck, deep brisket, good bend of stifle, moved soundly. 2 Helps’ Beardswood
Octavia. Well muscled, nice front, good well knuckled feet with well trimmed nails, lovely head with dark eyes, deep brisket well set tail, movement was unfortunately sluggish due to the hot
weather. 3 Barter’s Stainlonan Bit Of Ehlaradawn.

OB(4) 1 Bailey’s Greyflax Milly Molly Mandy. A lovely bitch, correct front, good shoulders, great feet, a beautiful head and expression, teeth in good condition, strong neck, good bend of stifle, well set tail, a shapely bitch with superb movement, BCC. 2 Owen & Brodie’s Ch Marandike Ebonys Choice To Wolfcastle. A bitch with a lot of substance, dark eyes, neat ears, deep brisket, did not move as well as first. Res BCC. 3 Janson’s Nixophel Crystal Amethyst JW ShCM.
